Puerto Rican Holiday and Seasonal Recipes

Holidays in Puerto Rico are a time of gathering, music, and, most importantly, incredible food. These dishes are at the center of celebrations, bringing family and friends together with flavors that define the festive season. Whether it's Christmas, Thanksgiving, or any special occasion, these recipes make every meal feel like a true fiesta.

A perfect example is Coquito, the island's signature holiday drink made with coconut milk, rum, and spices, often served during Christmas. For dessert, Tembleque is a silky coconut pudding that's as easy to make as it is delicious. Another holiday favorite is Arroz con Dulce, a sweet, spiced rice pudding typically enjoyed during Christmas. Polvorones, Puerto Rican shortbread cookies, are often baked during the holidays and shared with loved ones. And if you're looking for a festive treat, Pecan Crusted Cheesecake with Guava Coulis will undoubtedly make an impression at any holiday gathering.
