    Soups, Stews, and Braised Dishes

    Puerto Rican soups and stews are pure comfort in a bowl - hearty, deeply flavored, and often filled with meats, root vegetables, and sofrito magic.

    Classic favorites include Sancocho (Root Vegetable and Meat Stew), Asopao de Pollo (Chicken and Rice Stew), and Caldo Gallego, perfect for rainy days or big family gatherings.
