    Beef, Lamb, and Pork

Puerto Rican cooking makes the most of rich, flavorful meats like beef, lamb and pork. These dishes are marinated, slow-cooked, or grilled to perfection, letting every bite soak up the island's signature seasoning. From everyday comfort foods to special-occasion roasts, meat is a centerpiece of Boricua cooking.

Try Carne Guisada (Puerto Rican Beef Stew) for a hearty meal, Instant Pot Pernil (Pork Roast), or Chuletas the Cerdo (Puerto Rican Pork Chops) for a celebration certerpiece. For something different try Steak and Gorgonzola Pizza or Pan-Seared Lamb Loin Chops.
